Sherrilyn Ann Prather, 85, of Garland, TX, passed away on the evening of August 10th, 2023.
Sherrilyn was born on September 9th, 1937, to Richard Trettin and Agnes McCaskey in Fairplay, Colorado. In April of 1954, Sherrilyn wed Earl Leon Prather. Sherrilyn and Leon went on to have 3 children. Sherrilyn was a stay-at-home mother and spent her time taking care of her husband and children, whom she adored.
Sherrilyn was predeceased by her father, mother, husband Leon, her sister Linda, and nephew Chance. She is survived by her 3 daughters; Darla, Diane/Dan, and Deonia/David, her 7 grandchildren; Kristi/Nathan, Telisa, Shauna/Richard, Robby, Jessica, Joshua, and Allison, her 9 great-grandchildren Breanna, Jason, Jacob, Kaleb, Natalie, Tyler, Makayla, Anthony, and Dillion, and her great-great-grandchild.
