Sherry Lee Royster Brown's Obituary
Sherry was born December 1, 1930, and died December 7, 2016, after a lengthy illness. Sherry is preceded in death by parents George and Lela Royster and daughter Penny Lee Brown Stella. Sherry was a long time Dallas resident graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School and Southern Methodist University. Sherry was a Lady of Faith and one of many artistic talents shown throughout her life with family and many friends who loved her. Sherry is survived by husband Bill Brown, daughter Vicky Daneman and husband Scott of Dallas, son Terry Brown of Washington D.C., son in law Joe Stella of Henry Island, Washington, grandsons Austin Daneman and Nicholas Grant and wife Kim of Dallas, sister Suzanne Snow and husband Paul of Dallas and many nieces and friends. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home Friday 6-8 P.M., December 16, 2016. The celebration of Sherry’s life will be in the Chapel at Presbyterian Village North, 8600 Skyline Drive, Dallas, Texas at 2 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2016, with Reverend Brent Ashby officiating. In lieu of flowers, Sherry would wish contributions made to a charity of your choice.
