Sheryl Walker's Obituary
Nash-Walker, Sheryl beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 in Arlington, Texas. The Angel of Peace led her to higher grounds where she will forever be at rest in the Lord. Sheryl was born to the parentage of Carl E. and Rosemary Nash on November 24, 1953 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She gave her life to Christ at an early age at our legacy steeped family church, Evening, Chapel CME Church in Sulphur Springs. She and her family later joined the Mt. Hebron Church family. Sheryl graduated from Sulphur Springs Senior High School in 1972. She went on to attend East Texas State University where she met and married Robert E. Walker. To this union, two daughters were born. The family later moved to Dallas, Texas where she began her career with the Texas State Attorney General’s Office until her recent retirement.” She is preceded in death by her father, Carl E. Nash, and son, Sam Walker. Sheryl leaves to cherish her loving memory, daughters, Briana Nicole Walker and Ashley Danielle Walker of Irving, Texas; mother, Mrs. Rosemary Nash of Sulphur Springs, Texas; sister, Donna Nash Dempsey (Darryl) of Garland, Texas; nephews, Corwin Michael and David Carl Dempsey of Dallas, Texas; along with a host of loving and supportive aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 20, 2014 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, 1233 HWY. 66 Garland, Texas. 972-276-5218
