Shirley Ann Williams' Obituary
Shirley Ann Williams, 69 of Sachse, Texas was born on July 28, 1948 in Naples, Texas to the late Arthur Lee Carpenter and Minnie Ola Hill. She was carried home on July 30, 2017. She made Texas her home where she met and married her late husband, Herman Leon Williams. She was a hard worker, a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother who believed in taking care of her family. Shirley was an active member of Restoration Center C. O. G. I. C. and Holy Communion Outreach Temple Church where she served on the Hospitality Board at both. She made all who entered her Church home, as well as her own home, always feel welcome. She leaves to mourn her passing her children: daughter Sharron and son-in-law Stefan Jackson of Sachse, Texas her son Willie and daughter-in-taw La’Mara Williams of Allen, Texas, and daughter Anitra Craddock of Dallas, Texas; her four grandchildren: Darien Marcel Jackson, Naijae Nicole Craddock Dajah Monet Jackson, and Aubrance La’Shelle Williams; her nephew and Honorary Son, Steven and niece Nicole Williams of Plano, Texas; brother John and sister-in-law Josephine Carpenter of Dallas, Texas and four sisters: Rose Craddock of Dallas, Texas, Mary Hernandez, Helen and brother-in-law L.M. Jackson, and Bettie Kenney all of Plano, Texas, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends who with miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her brothers James and William Carpenter; and her sister Linda Kendrick. Service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at 2:30 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
