HESS, SHIRLEY RUTH Born November 9, 1935 in Vivian, LA and passed away January 11, 2012 in Dallas, TX. Shirley was married for 51 years to Richard O. Hess. She was a member of Northrich Baptist Church for around 40 years and was active in The Prayer Quilt Ministry. She is survived by daughters, Wanda Demetri and husband Kent, Vickie Hess-Miller and husband Ryan, Linda Clifford and husband Mitch, and Vanessa Williams and husband David; son, Tom Hess and wife Sandy; 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00pm, Sunday, January 15th at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:00am, Monday, January 16th at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
