Shirley Ann Johnson's Obituary
JOHNSON, SHIRLEY ANN – Born December 12, 1935 in Dallas, TX and passed away August 25, 2012. She was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Lorene Douglas; husband of 59 years, Wayne Johnson and granddaughter, Natalie Johnson. Shirley is survived by her children: Susan and Brian Abbett, Michael and Sherri Johnson, Kevin Johnson and Cara and Thomas Mergel; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Laverne Stanley of Dallas and Paulette Douglas of Garland, TX; brother and sister in-law, Jerry and Shirley Johnson of Winnsboro, TX. She retired from First Baptist Church in Garland in 1996 after 18 years. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 11:00 AM, August 30 at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 8111 LBJ Frwy, Dallas, TX 75251.
