Also known as: Mom, Mama, Elsie, Grandma, Grandmommy, Mamie, Aunt Elsie, Mama Shirley.
Shirley was born on January 9, 1939 and went home to meet her Savior on February 24, 2022. She was born to Adam and Minnie Graham in Canton, Texas. She married Joe Large on March 25, 1963 and was married 25 years before he went home to be with the Lord.
Shirley was a devoted Mother, Mother-in-Law, Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin. She loved bowling, playing dominoes, and talking about her precious puppy, Twitter. She loved really big. She loved her family no matter what predicament they were in. She never gave up loving. She was a giver. If you needed something, she would give it to you if she had it. There was nothing she wouldn’t do to help others. She never met a stranger. She loved her church family. She loved her Sunday School Class. She loved her bowling friends. She loved her domino buddies. Most importantly, she loved Jesus.
She is survived by Daughters, Cindy Essl (Stephen Essl), Shirley Ballard (Larry Ballard) and Teri Hardin (Brett Weimer); brother, Bobby Graham; grandchildren, Kay Geffers, Josie White, Justin Gillis, Alec Fedro, Peyton Essl, Blane Essl and Rachael Hardin; great grandchildren, Jadin Geffers, Baelin Gillis, Kyler Gillis, Jaylin Gillis, Ethan Geffers, Sawyer Mosley and Harper Mosley; and host of nieces, nephew and cousins that she loved beyond measure.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, brothers, Dearl Graham and Reginald Graham and sister, Jimmie Reece.
