Shirley Jo Littrell, age 79, of Bonham, Texas, passed away on September 19, 2025. Born on December 22, 1945, in Abilene, Texas, Shirley was the beloved daughter of Ebba Brown and Jesse Perry.
A woman of warmth, creativity, and joy, Shirley will be remembered for her love of sewing and gardening—hobbies that reflected her nurturing spirit and artistic touch. She found great happiness in game nights with friends, proudly served as a Red Hats Queen, and cherished time spent camping and fishing in nature’s embrace.
Shirley’s heart was fullest when surrounded by family, especially when watching her grandson Blake Rice perform—moments that brought her immense pride and delight.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, George “Bud” Littrell, and her parents. Her memory lives on through her children: Laura Rice, Diana Rice, Clifford Rice and his wife Kerry Rice, as well as Tammy Glover and Daniel Sperandeo; her grandchildren, Blake Rice and Presley Glover; and her sisters, Peggy Kelly and Barbara Martinez.
