Shirley Eunice Pasher's Obituary
Pasher, Shirley E. Shirley E. Pasher was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania on January 3, 1921. She entered into Heaven’s gates on April 10, 2012. A consummate mother and homemaker, Shirley was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. Over the years she collected an extensive library of cookbooks from across the world. She spent many hours watching Ranger and Cowboy games. She was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting Cardinal memorabilia, her favorite bird. Shirley had an unwavering faith in God. She was a charter member of Bethel Lutheran Church. Over the years, she had become the unofficial church historian and enjoyed singing in the choir. Shirley was a talented musician and in her younger years played drums in an all female band, steel guitar and the organ. She bestowed the love of music to her children. Shirley loved her family and leaves an enduring family legacy. Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 49 years Bill Pasher and granddaughter Shalina Lynn Pasher. She is survived by her daughter Toni Emmott and husband Bob, sons Bill Pasher and wife Donna and Brian Pasher and wife Cathy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Malicia Curran, Candra Divelbiss, Justin Pasher, Christy Novak, Ginnie Emmott, Lauren Pasher and Brandon Pasher. She had four great-grandchildren, McKenna Divelbiss, Madison Pasher, Malorie Divelbiss and Caleb Pasher. Shirley was also survived by her sister, Eunice Stashick and husband Walt. Elsa Sotelo lovingly cared for Shirley over the past 13 years. Vaughn Heard also joined in providing attentive care in recent years. The family gives them their deepest gratitude. The family will receive friends on Thursday April 12, 2012 from 6-8pm at Restland Funeral Home. A service celebrating her life will be Friday April 13, 2012 at 2:30pm at Bethel Lutheran Church 11211 East Northwest Highway in Dallas. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Music Fund at Bethel Lutheran Church or the American Diabetes Association . Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
