Shou-Hsuan Lee's Obituary
Shou-Hsuan Lee, 86, passed away on July 6th, 2020 in Plano, Texas. She was born on July 20th, 1934 to Tai-Wen Chu and Yan-Lan Yang in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China.
Shou-Hsuan grew up in a big family of six children during the wartime. She moved to Taiwan with the family in 1949 and went on to complete education in Taipei, Taiwan. She met the love of her life, Ti-Kuang Lee who served in the Air Force, and married him in 1955. Together they raised five happy daughters with the home of love in the turbulent time of Taiwan. All her children are full of gratefulness beyond words today. She and Mr. Lee moved to United States to live close by their children late last century.
Since 2018, Shou-Hsuan’s health condition started to deteriorate. Despite that, she and Mr. Lee managed to have a trip to Taipei and visited friends and relatives. On July 4th, 2020, Shou-Hsuan was admitted to Medical City of Plano due to acute kidney failure. She passed away two days later with her daughters next to her bed.
Shou-Hsuan is survived by her loved husband, Ti-Kuang Lee and the family; daughter, Shannon and her husband Edward Chen; daughter, Amy and her husband Daniel Liu; daughter, Christina and her husband Michael Wang; daughter, Karen; daughter, Sherry and her husband Tony Chen; the grandchildren, Leian Chen and her husband Edward Yin, Eric Chen and his wife Sandra Paek, Vincent Wang and his wife Eileen Wang, Kyle Wang and his wife Danmei Wang, Nathaniel Minard, Shawnwei Chen and Howei Chen; and the great grandchildren, Brandon Yin, Ryan Yin, Claire Wang, Chloe Wang; as well as many extended family and friends.
Visitation is on Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 from 4 pm- 6 pm at Restland Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 at 10:00 am at Restland Wildwood Chapel
