Sidney Clarence Henderson Jr.'s Obituary
HENDERSON JR., SIDNEY CLARENCE was born September 29,1953 to the late Letha Mae Burleson Henderson and Sidney Clarence Henderson Sr. He attended school his early years in Dallas ISD and graduated from Richardson High School, Richardson Texas. He also attended El Centro & East Field Community Colleges where he learned his trade and became self employed until his health failed him. Sidney received Christ at an early age. He was a member of the Hamilton Park Methodist Church and later attended First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park. Sidney had a passion for helping others any way he could. He had a vibrant smile that will always be remembered. He absolutely loved his children and grandchildren. Sidney married Kathleen Henderson in 1973 and to this union four children were born. Sidney Henderson III, Santrea Henderson, Courtney Henderson & Dustin Henderson all of Dallas Texas. He later married Barbara Henderson and to this union two children were born. Shaquita Henderson & Kalon Henderson of Dallas Texas. He later married Gina Henderson and had one step son, Sidney Clarence Henderson of Dallas, and an additional son, Tony Johnson of Dallas Texas. Sidney is also survived by one sister, Mishon Blaylock of Dallas; one brother, Sidney Carl Williams (Bridget) of Garland Texas; Three nieces, Quitra Blaylock, MaRanda Williams & Niyokee Williams; Three nephews, Clarence Blaylock Jr.,. Sidney Carl Williams Jr., & Brintlun Williams; seven grandchildren; two aunts; two uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Restland Memorial Chapel.
