Sidney Lee Seisler's Obituary
Sidney Lee Seisler (Sid), age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was born to Harry and Margaret (Heibeck) Seisler in Reading, Pennsylvania on June 12, 1943. Sid grew up and attended school in Pennsylvania and Virginia. He later enlisted and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.He married Zora “Janett” Seisler on August 18, 1979 and combined their two families.Prior to retirement, he worked at various companies as an IT Programmer in the Dallas, Texas area. He enjoyed his family, grandchildren and spending time with Hero, his Maltese. He liked to travel and enjoyed many vacations on the beaches of the U.S. and Mexico.He is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Harry Seisler.Sid is survived by his wife, Janett of Rowlett, TX; sons, Michael (Jodi) Seisler of Garland, TX, Chris (Nicole) Mann of Dallas, TX, and Michael (Karen) Mann of Corpus Christi, TX; daughter, Terra (Brady) Tallas of Flower Mound, TX. “Papaw” will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Brianna and Julia Seisler and Karson Mann.Sid will be missed by his loving family, friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.In lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider a donation to Wounded Warrior Project. www.woundedwarriorproject.orgThere will be a memorial service held for Mr. Seisler on Monday, July 2, 2018, at 3:00 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements for Mr. Sidney Seisler have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
