Sondra Evette Hathaway, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Wednesday, November 8, 1944, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Ramsey Johnson and Eva Martin Johnson in Dallas, Texas. Sondra Evette Hathaway will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.She married Robert Hathaway on 12/27/1962 in Irving, Texas. She was a housewife, mother & grandmother for most of her life. She is survived by her husband Robert Hathaway, sons Bob Hathaway – McKinney, Texas, Michael Hathaway – Dallas, Texas, brothers Martin Johnson – Plano, Texas & Emmett Johnson – Wills Point, Texas, three grandchildren Jessica Simmons – Marion Arkansas, Carl Hathaway – Lavon, Texas, Caitlyn Hathaway – Dallas, Texas, Five great-grandchildren Greg Simmons – Marion Arkansas, Iszabelle Simmons – Marion, Texas, Luke Simmons – Marion, Arkansas, Ella Hathaway – Lavon, Texas & Liam Hathaway – Lavon, Texas.She was a caring wife, mother and grandmother that loved to take care of her family. She loved to meet and make new friends wherever she went. Also she loved to sing.Visitation for Sondra Evette Hathaway will be held Monday, April 29, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.
