Songqing Li, age 45, beloved husband, father, son, passed away on May 22, 2024. He was a resident of Frisco, TX. He was born on July 1, 1978, in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, to his parents, Guorong Li and Yifen Lu.
Songqing, known to his loved ones as a devoted family man and a dedicated professional, leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering commitment. He was a loving husband to his wife, ShangLi Lian, whom he met in college and married on October 22, 2004. He was a cherished father to his daughters, Eva Li and Ayla Li, who brought endless joy and pride to his life. Songqing's kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family were the cornerstones of his character. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his supportive nature, and his willingness to always lend a helping hand to those in need.
In his professional life, Songqing was trained as an OB/GYN physician in China, following the footstep of his mother. He earned a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology at University of Florida and pursued postdoctoral fellowship at St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Songqing started his career in In vitro fertilization in 2016 and made significant contributions as an embryologist, laboratory director at IVFMD, and scientific director of FSN, touching the lives of many through his work. His dedication to his career and passion for helping others will always be remembered.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Songqing's life will be held on May 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Restland Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX.
