Soon Nyo Kim's Obituary
Soon Nyo Kim peacefully went to be with our Lord on August 13, 2024, at the age of 95. She was born on October 7, 1928, in the tiny village of Soksa-ri, Gangwon-do in Korea. As the youngest daughter of her family, she was raised in love and cherished by her family.
A woman of unwavering integrity and dedication, Soon married Jae Chul Kim, who fell in love with her at first sight. Her greatest source of pride and joy was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with her eight children, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Although she held a prominent place in society, you would never know it. She was the embodiment of warmth – humble and sweet. She never had a lot to say, but you felt her powerful presence, not in words, but in action. She quietly ruled over her nest, leaving an enduring legacy of love that is felt through the generations.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 25th from 2:00-4:00pm at Restland Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in her honor at 10:00am on Monday, August 26th at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park. 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243.
