Sophon Kim, age 77, was born to parents Phoung Kim and Voeung Phou in Ballambong, Cambodia on June 21, 1940. He passed away on the afternoon of Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. Sophon will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and all who knew and loved him.The family requests that visiting hours be observed for Mr. Kim on ThursdayMay 10, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home and Friday, May 11, 2018, from 9:00AM to 8:30PM at Restland Funeral Home. A funeral service for Sohpon Kim will be on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:30 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Court of Gabriel in Restland Cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
