Spiro Giannopoulos' Obituary
Spiro Giannopoulos of Plano, Texas, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021. Spiro was born April 25, 1958 to Konstantinos and Joann Giannopoulos in Diplatanos, Greece. Spiro immigrated to the United States with his family in1966 and lived in New York until he moved to Texas in 1988. Spiro worked as a chef in Dallas for various restaurants including two of his own. Spiro was a caring and quiet man and loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. In 1991 Spiro met and fell in love with his wife Lisa Taylor. Spiro and Lisa were married in May of 1992. They raised two wonderful sons together.
Preceded in death by is father, Kostantinos Giannopoulos, Paternal Grandparents Spiro & Joann Giannopoulos, his Maternal Grandparents, Andrea & Tasia Vellios, and numerous uncles, aunt and cousins.
Spiro is survived by his wife Lisa Giannopoulos, his sons Kosta & Nikolas Giannopoulos, his mother Joann Giannopoulos, his sister Tess Anderson and brother in law Tommy Anderson, his mother in law Teri Taylor, his father in law Bill Taylor and his wife Darlene Taylor, brothers in law Marcus Taylor and his wife Katrina Taylor, Phillip Taylor and his wife Jalaa Taylor, his sister in law Tricia Matthews and her husband Robert Matthews, his niece Joanna Bui and husband Jonathan Bui, his nephew Alex Anderson and his wife Shirley Anderson, and their children Ella & Matthew Bui and Thomas Anderson. His nieces Makenzee and Savannah Ray Taylor, and his nephews Preston and Brayden Taylor
