Dr. Stanley Lawrence Kroder's Obituary
Dr. Kroder, Stanley L. went to his Forever Home on Thursday, March 6, 2014 surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with cognitive decline. He is survived by daughter, Joanne K. Winland of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Karen Kroder of Hartsdale, New York; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Brian Steed of Dallas, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jason Adams of Murphy, Texas, and his legacy: grandchildren, Liza and Casie Winland, Hayden and Lily Steed , Ashton, Dylan, Payton and Grayson Adams. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sandra H. Kroder; parents, Edgar and Gertrude Kroder, mother and father-in-law, D. Rusk and Ruth Haverfield, and youngest granddaughter, Carson Haverfield Adams. The family wishes to thank the staff of Walnut Place, Paradigm Home Health and VNA Hospice for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Stan’s name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 560089, Dallas, Texas 75356.
