Stanley Elvis Smith of Dallas, Texas born on February 10, 1925 passed away November 10, 2015. Preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, B. J. Smith; granddaughter, Emily Stuller. Stanley is survived by his daughters, Cindy Carey and husband, Leonard, Sue Stuller and husband, Dean; grandson, Chad Carey and wife, Kate, Keith Carey and wife, Lindsay, Mark Carey and wife, Jessica, Gloria Nwelue and husband, Emanuel, Jeremiah Hayes, Evan Stuller, Elizabeth and husband, Joey DeCosta, Susi Rinck and husband, Terry; great grandchildren, Birdie, Evie, Luke, Tessie, Stanley, Miranda, Samuel. Stan was a Tech Seargant for the United States Army Air Corp and a member of the 457 Bomber Group. He was involved with the Knights of Columbus. Stan and BJ loved to travel in their RV. He loved everything family and never missed a family event! One of Stan’s most favorite things other than family was his faithfull dog Annie. The visitation for Stanley Smith will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Stanley will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 12:00 PM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
