Stephanie Diane Landess was born on September 15, 1981 at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida and passed away April 18, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Shirley Rinehart and her step brother, Justin Cox. She is survived by her mother, Betty and husband, Tom Baugh of Garland, TX, father, Tom and stepmother, Cheri Landess of Quinlan, TX; Fiance, Charley Whitney of the Home Dallas; beloved cats, Smith and Wesson of the house; stepsister, Kassie and husband, Abel Trevino of Greenville, TX; half-sister, Amy and husband, Robert Wells of Dallas, TX and half-brother, T.J. Landess of Quinlan, TX; Aunt Terrie and husband, Martin Lincoln of Gore, OK, Aunt Jeanora and husband, Mike Mairs of Lewisville, TX, Aunt Donna and husband Jesse Cowan of Fate, TX, Aunt Tricia McDonald of Richardson, TX and great uncle, Joe Landess of Amarillo, TX; cousins: April and Nicholas Hammons of OK, Aidan and Andrew Mairs of Lewisville, TX, Brittany Cawthon of Fate, TX, Jesica Del Castillo of Grand Prairie, TX, Kensey McDonald of Lubbock, TX, Jason McDonald of Frisco, TX and Eric Buckland of Pampa, TX; special friends: Mike Powers, Don and Jackie Gregg and Peggy Loveless and many others who knew and loved her. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dallas SPCA in memory of Stephanie Landess. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
