Funeral services for Stephanie Wellman, age 49 of Mesquite, Texas will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Restland Memorial Chapel, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, with Dr. Al Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park under the direction of Restland Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Restland Funeral Home. Stephanie Annette Wade Wellman was born August 11, 1967 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of Warren and Carolyn Thaxton Wade and passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 24, 2016 in Mesquite. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Montella and Louis Thaxton and Willie Ora Wade and an aunt Marilyn Joyce Reynolds. Stephanie grew up in Mesquite and her number one joy in life was playing with her grandbabies and her two loving nieces. Stephanie always enjoyed the family gatherings and holidays with family as well as listening and singing to 80’s music. Her love for her daughters and grandbabies was clear to everyone as she would constantly remind them that “she cannot live without their hugs and kisses”. She loved inspirational quotes and her bible verses. Her favorite verse from the bible was Luke 6:38, “ Give, and it shall be given unto you”. Survivors include her daughters, Marissa McKinnie and her husband Michael and Chelsey Wellman, grandchildren Caleb McKinnie and Olivia McKinnie, parents, Carolyn and Warren Wade, brother, Curtis Wade and his girlfriend Paige Janca, nieces Madison and Cammie Wade, aunts Jan Havens and her husband Paul and Erma McPherson and her husband Roland & family as well as numerous other friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, the family request Memorials be made to Carolyn Wade & Marissa McKinnie, 3834 Casa Ridge Dr. Mesquite, Texas 75150.
