Stephanie took me in when I was 16 years old. She was the mom that I never had. She taught me what it is to be loved, unconditionally. She saved my life in so many ways. I will forever be grateful for the time I had with her. I love you more, momma.

Well, it is beginning to settle in sis…you are not physically here anymore. I have so many fond memories of you dear Stephanie. I can remember rushing around here at work one day after you had left. You and Chels had stopped by to say hi to me and a few others as you often did. There was something I had to do for my Director and I did come to the door right away. You waited patiently…that was your way. I got to the door and blurted out something stupid regarding work and that I couldn't stay and chat too long. You just hugged me and said "chill sister…breathe…" then proceeded to tell about your latest doctor visit and cancel update ever so calmly. This all done with a smile on your face. We chatted briefly and you then you hugged me again and ended with a kiss and your signature "love you more" to which I replied – "not possible"and returned to my desk. Stephanie always had a way of making you feel better and never let you stress about her issues even if you wanted to or did just a little bit. She wanted everyone to feel happy and understand that even in rough times there is joy. SLC
Stephanie was not only a co-worker but a good friend. Although we did not talk everyday but when we did it was like no time had passed. I will miss you.

I met Stephanie my 1st week at SWDIC over 8 years ago but no one was ever just a coworker with Stephanie.. My Friend I am blessed to call her.. She was always a joy to be with. Our times together in office and out were always a blast… Miss you dearly, my friend.
We know that Stephanie is now in God's care, restored and happy walking in heaven in God's beauty and light, and at peace. We worked together in Dallas and Stephanie always kept her great smile and positive attitude no matter what came her way. We can remember that and learn how to handle life from Stephanie. God now has another angel who left behind more than she will ever know in how to handle whatever God has planned for our life. Smile and live our life with grace.
