Mr. Stephen S. Comstra; passed away on May 2, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on January 27, 1969, to his loving and thoughtful parents Stephen Comstra and Dorothy Summers in Hollywood, Florida. Mr. Stephen S. Comstra will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.Stephen was a loving companion, father, friend to many and a member of the Dallas Police Department for fifteen years.Stephen is survived by his mother, Dorothy Summers, partner Guadalupe Hatfield, daughters, Skye Comstra of Atlanta, Georgia, Jessica Comstra of Ferris, Texas, and Emily Comstra of Ferris, Texas, son, Sean Comstra of Denver, Colorado sisters, Danielle Cross and husband Patrick, Robin Richardson, Stacey and husband Paul Carlile, Tami Scearce, and Kimberly and husband Tim Snead, brothers, Christian Comstra and David Pellein, as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Restland Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service for Mr. Comstra will be Monday, May 6, 2019 in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. The burial will follow in Restland Memorial Park.Funeral arrangements for Stephen Shannon Comstra have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave.; at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
