Stephen Andrew Cripe's Obituary
Stephen died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 29, 2012 in Dallas, TX at the age of 24. Born September 11, 1987 in Dallas, TX to Michael and Nancy Cripe, he was preceded in death by his father. Steve was quick witted and loved to make people laugh. He loved music, freestyling, and seeing bands live. He was a fan of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks and enjoyed going to games. Steve was a loving son and brother and a very loyal friend. He was always willing to help and made a positive impact on many people’s lives both in and outside of the recovery community. He is loved and will be remembered by all who knew him. Steve is survived by his mother Nancy Cripe, siblings Allison and Brian, grandmother Esther Adams, Uncle Charles Adams and family, Aunt Priscilla Weddell and family and numerous friends. Visitation will be from 7-9pm Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church, 9015 Plano Road, Dallas, TX. Graveside services will be at 9am Friday, May 4, 2012 at Restland Memorial Park. Memorial service will be at 11am Friday at Lake Highland United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Steve Cripe Foundation c/o David Case, 914 Wysteria Way, Richardson, TX 75080.
