Stephen "Steve" Anthony Jones' Obituary
Stephen “Steve” Anthony Jones was born on January 21, 1958 in Mineloa, Texas,
and attended Mineola High school. After graduation he joined Union Pacific
Railroad as a brakeman. He joined Corrugated Services/Smurfit Kappa in Forney
Texas in 1984, until this death. He lived a full and exciting life which was full of
laughter, accomplishments, and abundant love.
Steve was born to Anderson and Shadie (Bell) Jones. Those preceding Steve in
death include his mother, Shadie Jones, his father Anderson Jones, sister Rose
Ann Johnson and brother Matthew Johnson.
Anyone who knew Steve knows that he loved all of his family, loved to travel,
enjoyed fishing, was a master tomahawk steak griller…and was a diehard Dallas
Cowboys fan, just to name a few of his favorite things!
Those left to cherish Steve’s memory include his beloved wife, Sheba Jones; sons,
Blake Jones(Charlisa), Eddie Onyango (Leah); daughter, Destiny Jones (Octaveon),
KaLinda Jones; sisters, Portia Jones, Hope Brinkley, Johana Jones, Cathleen
Spurlock, Suzan Johnson, Sally Rojas; brothers, Grayling Jones, Christopher
Johnson, Bradley Jones; brother-in-laws, Carlist Brinkley and Toby Spurlock; stepfather, Wilford Jones; grand-daughters, Taliyah Jones, Zawadi Onyango, Ta’Jza
Montgomery, Da’Jza Montgomery; Auntie Alestine Thompson, and a host of
nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends.
