Dr. Stephen Layne Stuart's Obituary
STUART, DR. STEPHEN LAYNE passed away November 7, 2013 in Dallas. Stephen was born September 20, 1949 in Beaumont to Melvin and Lois Stuart. He attended Baylor University and earned his DDS at Baylor College of Dentistry. Steve is survived by wife, Karen Kramer Stuart; sons, Tyler (Meredith) Geren Stuart and children Sam and Ellie, Todd Layne Stuart, and Steve Scott Stuart and children Jake and Sophie; mother, Lois Lovett; and brother, Jeff Stuart. He was a great lover of all sports, especially his Baylor Bears where he played quarterback and pitcher. Stephen loved being Papa to his grandchildren. There will be a gathering on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Steve’s honor to Baylor University, One Bear Place #9726, Waco, TX 76790 Attn: Greg Davis.
