Steve C. Karnavas' Obituary
Passed on December 3, 2011 from the hands of his loving family into the arms of his gracious LORD. Born May 9, 1945 in Phoenix, AZ Steve spent most of his days in the great state of Texas. In his twenties, Steve became a drummer for The Chaparrals and The Snakes. In 1973 he married his high-school sweetheart and devoted wife of 38 years, Linda. They built a home together and welcomed Steve’s pride and joy, daughter Monica Linn. Steve was a lover of the outdoors, music, and most of all his family. He beamed when talking about “his girls” who now include his granddaughter, Mae Margot. As he would often tell people, “I am very rich. Rich in love.” He was proceeded in death by his father EC Karnavas. Left behind to carry on his legacy are his mother Margaret Karnavas, brother Gary Karnavas, treasured wife Linda, daughter Monica Larsen, son-in-law and friend Daniel Larsen, granddaughter Mae Larsen, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and life-long friends, and his loyal dog Lana. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 7th at Restland Funeral Home. Celebration of Steve’s life will be at 3:00pm, Thursday, December 8th at Heights Church, Richardson TX.
