Steve was a gentlemen always. I worked with him for 10 years. I never saw Steve in a bad mood; he was always a joy to be around. I already miss his smile, his voice, and his laugh. My heart hurts knowing he will not be here to make us laugh any more.
To Penny & Family – I was so shocked to hear of Steve?s passing. It?s almost unbelievable. Steve was so full of life and seemed to thoroughly enjoy everything he ever did. He had such a Great Personality, always positive and optimistic and just enjoyed life. I can?t ever remember a time when we saw each other that he wasn?t excited about something. He always put his heart into everything he did. We used to bowl in a League together (a very long time ago) and he kept us all laughing and making sure it was fun even if we bowled a gutter ball. Steve & Penny are also very good friends with my brother, Roger & his wife Linda. They liked to hang out and they always had the best of times. Oh, the stories of their outings. Steve left all those that were blessed to know him way too soon. And he will be greatly missed but will always bring a smile to my face when I think of him. Rest In Peace Steve! ?Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pour through and shine down upon us to let us know they are happy.? ~ Eskimo Legend ~ June Kelton

I knew Steve Dickerson for many many years when we worked together at Merico. When I found out of Steve's passing I was shocked as many were and saddened that someone so full of life was taken far too soon. Steve had a zest for life and loved to make others laugh so their day would be a little brighter. To Penny and the rest of Steve's family I offer my sincere condolences and prayers That you will find healing and learn to rely upon your beautiful memories of Steve to see you through. May God bless all of you. Linda (McDonald) Rodgers
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked for Steve from 1988 to 1994 at Merico General Office, and he was the nicest guy. I remember whenever all of us girls wanted to go out to eat he would always say "Go on! I'll put on my pantyhose and watch the phones." He always had a great sense of humor. He will truly be missed.
