Steven Corey Higgins' Obituary
It is with heavy hearts, but hopeful spirits, that the family of Steven Corey Higgins relates news of his passing from this world into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. Born in Dallas, Texas, Corey attended R.L. Turner High School. Those who knew him best remember his servant’s heart, and how he dedicated his time and energy to ministering to others in the Gospel through his membership in the Grand Lodge of Texas A.F. & A.M. (Plano, Texas Lodge #768) and the Scottish Rite Knights of St. Andrews. Corey loved to bring joy to others with his humorous spirit, as well as hunting, competitive shooting, and donating time to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Corey will be greatly missed by his father, his mother, his brothers and sisters, and his many nieces and nephews, all of whom look forward to seeing him again in eternal life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in the name of Steven Corey Higgins to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, by phone at (214) 559-7650 or 1-800-421-1121 ext. 7650; or by web at www.tsrhc.org/honorariums. Cards for the family can be sent to Chris Higgins, 6010 82nd St. Ste. 100, Lubbock, TX 79424. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Restland Memorial Chapel. Following will be the service at 11:00 AM at the Restland Memorial Chapel.
