Sue Coffey's Obituary
COFFEY, MARY SUE FAIR passed away on December 31, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Dallas on October 8, 1923 to Lela Evelyn and Andrew Clarence Fair. Sue graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1940 and married George E. Coffey in December 1945. Sue worked with George to start Therm Processes, Inc. in 1948 and was involved in the business with him for over 40 years. Sue is preceded in death by her husband, George Coffey; daughter, Cathy Trapp; sister, Doris Fair and brother, Andrew Fair. She is survived by children, Stephen Coffey, Karen Coffey Powell and husband, Michael Powell; Clifton Coffey and wife, Janet Tharp; son-in-law, Raymond Trapp; grandchildren, Jordan, Jessica, and Paula Trapp and Laura Trapp Burton; Mathew and wife, Amanda and Candace Powell; Cait, Jay and Kali Coffey; and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jackson Powell. A memorial service celebrating Sue’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, January 6, 2014 in Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, www.dcac.org. Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
