Sue J. Hearn's Obituary
Sue J. Hearn, 88, of Mesquite, TX, was born October 27, 1936, in Coushatta, Louisiana to Herbert Johnson and Eloe Robinson. She married Donald Wayne Hearn on May 19, 1954, in Sarepta, LA.
She is remembered as someone who exuded joy and love from the moment you met her. She loved college football, road trips to the mountains, helping those less fortunate, having her “quiet time” in God’s Word, and most of all her roles as Mom and “Munner” to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Don. She is survived by her children: Donna Lamb (Scott), Lisa Hartless, Phillip Hearn (R.J.), and Cheryl Hopper (Ty); grandchildren: Dillon Lamb (Ellyn), Crystal Kolendo (Keenan), Candi Hartless, Zachary Hearn, Abigail Hearn, Tyler Hopper, and Hayley Hopper; great-grandchildren: Kaden Kolendo, Camryn Kolendo, Carson Kolendo, Lucas Hearn, and Castiel Hearn; and her brother Gary Johnson (Velma) and family.
Funeral services will be held at Christian Care Chapel, 900 Wiggins Parkway, Mesquite, TX, on Monday, October 20 at 10:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m.
