Sue Joyce's Obituary
Passed away March 21, 2016. She was born in Nederland, TX in 1930 to Bob and Retta Eagleson. She graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Port Arthur, TX and had a long, successful career as a Registered Nurse at the SMU Student Health Center in Dallas. As a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church, she spent many years serving as a Sunday school teacher. Her favorite pastimes included floral design and gardening. Following the Texas A&M Aggies and Dallas Mavericks were her other great passions. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Jerry of Southlake, TX, sons Jerry Jr. (Brenda) of Orange, TX, Mark (Carol) of Southlake, TX and Brian (Dorothy) of Edmond, OK; grandsons Craig Joyce of Austin, TX and Brad Joyce of Southlake, TX; granddaughter Shelbi Marchbanks of Edmond, OK. Memorial Service to celebrate Sue’s life will take place at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 25, 2016 at The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church at www.stbc.org.
