Sue Rigsby's Obituary
Mother was born on January 15, 1928 in Hueytown, Alabama and passed away on January 2, 2016 in Plano, Texas. Mother was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Land A. Rigsby. She is survived by her son, David A. Rigsby; daughter, Landa R. Howard; her grandchildren; Ryan Howard, Suzanne Swaney and Michael Howard; son in law; Caleb Swaney; daughter in law, Lauren Howard; and great grandchildren; Audrey Mae Swaney and Landon Wayne Swaney. She was excited for the third grandchild who will be here in July, Knox Andrew Howard. Mother loved us all and I am so happy those great grandchildren were able to experience the love she had for them, and for that love to be returned. What a blessing, to know how much you are loved. Mother showed that love to all of us, all the time. I also want to thank Shelia Swaney, who deeply cared for her and made my Mother’s last weeks more comforting. Service will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
