Suong Van Nguyen's Obituary
Suong Van Nguyen passed away on June 7, 2023 at the age of 95 at his home in Richardson, Texas.
He was born in South Vietnam on August 6th, 1927. He was a Police Captain until he and his family came to America in 1975 at the age of 48.
As soon as his family settled down in Durham, North Carolina, he started working as a Lab Assistant at the pharmaceutical firm Burroughs Welcome at Research-Triangle Park, North Carolina; which is now part of the GlaxoSmithKline. Later, he moved to Raleigh, NC. to work for the International Telephone & Telegraph (ITT) company until retired.
To be close to his adult children, he moved and lived in Richardson, Texas, and enjoyed the retirement life after years of hardworking to raise the family.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving wife, all his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
His funeral service will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Restland Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
