Susan Kay Marx's Obituary
Susan Kay Marx of Savannah, TX passed away on July 3, 2020. Susan was born in Denver, Colorado on May 20, 1959. She had recently celebrated her 61st birthday. Susan is survived by her husband, Christopher Marx of Savannah. Susan had two children who were the light of her life, Alexandra Polanchyck Leever and her husband Scott Leever of Dallas, Elliott Polanchyck and his girlfriend, Kendall Higgins of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by the father of Alex and Elliott, Daniel Polanchyck of Plano. Susan is also survived by her loving parents, Carl and Mary Renner of Littleton, Colorado, her sister, Linda Rindels and her husband Brian
of Morrison, Colorado and her brother, Robert Renner and his partner, Connie Field, of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. While Susan did not have any grandchildren, Chris’s 8 grandchildren affectionately called her “Lolly” and Chris and Susan became “Lollipop”! Susan was employed at Gleneagles Country Club since 2004. At the time of her passing, she was the Tennis Shop Supervisor/Buyer. Honestly, not sure how Gleneagles will survive without her! Susan had such an impact on all who knew her. She was a true friend, confidant, listener and one to “speak truth in love” to all that she loved. Her life, while shorter that we would have wished, was one that impacted so many in so many ways. Susan showed her greatest courage in the last 8 months as she battled cancer. She was a woman that had a tremendous faith in God, and is walking with our Savior today. She is gone but not forgotten. She will be forever in our hearts and forever in our minds. We love you Susan!
