Susan Seegmiller's Obituary
Susan Loretta Seegmiller, age 61, of Wylie, Texas passed away on March 31, 2021. Susan was born on July 14, 1959 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Ruth and Richard Seegmiller.
Susan was a 1981 graduate of Baylor University Nursing School. She went on and earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating in 1984. Susan was academically gifted and always at the top of her class. She retired from Nursing in 2013 after a long successful career. Susan began her nursing career at Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. She was Director of Inservice and Infection Control at Mesquite Community Hospital and ending her career as a RN Nurse Screener at the Dallas Transplant Services Center. Susan was a lifelong member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Plano Texas and participated in many church activities.
Susan was passionate about dogs. Over her lifetime, she was mother to Beau and Bailey, Morgan and Mollie and most recently, Alex and Allie. They were her pride and joy and she loved them dearly.
Susan is survived by her sister, Joanne Fredrickson of Richardson, Texas, nieces Juliana Fredrickson of Richardson, TX and Kathryn Seegmiller of Sachse, Texas. Susan is preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Richard Seegmiller and brother Robert A. Seegmiller.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Susan’s memory be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, Plano Texas or to ASPCA
