Susan Lanette Walker, 60, Devoted wife, loving mother, beloved grandmother, and friend to all, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on December 8, 1959, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Alvin Alton Pool Sr. and Bonnie Faye Pool in Pasadena, CA. Susan Lanette Walker will be sincerely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Susan is survived by her husband of 23 years: Jerry Lee Walker; brothers: Alvin Alton Pool Jr., John DeWayne Pool; Children: Leigh Ann Roebuck, Paul Michael Pool and Wife Lyndee Ann Pool, Cheyenne Marie Walker, Stormy Lanette Walker; Grandchildren: Rose Faith Pool, Santana Gurrola, Kayla Grace Gurrola, and Kyndall Michelle Pool. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister: Alana Faye Pool
Susan was the type of woman that would not be held down or told what she couldn’t do. She always said she would do what she wanted until the end, and that’s exactly what she did. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Shopping at all the local thrift stores, sitting behind her home and staring for hours at all her flowers she had amassed. Her newest passion was cruising the Caribbean with her kids. Where she enjoyed all the food (especially the bacon), desserts and endless fun things to do.
Visitation for Susan Lanette Walker will be held Friday, February 7, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Restland Funeral Home. Her Service will be held Friday, February 7, 2020 at 12:00 PM in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.
