Susan Lee White's Obituary
Susan Lee White, passed away on January 4th, 2022, in Richardson, Texas.
Born September 23, 1949, in Dallas, Texas, Susan was the daughter of Emerson "Doc" and Mary Ella Stuller.
Susan grew up in Dallas, Texas and, after graduating from Lake Highlands High School, attended the University of North Texas (formerly North Texas Stale University) in Denton, Texas. At UNT, she met the love of her life, Randall "Randy" White, and they married in June 1969. The couple settled in Garland, Texas where they would live for over half a century, raising their two sons, Brian and Gregory. Susan began her career working with her father at RJ DeWees and Son, Inc., but eventually started her own business, B&W Sales. Susan passionately and successfully ran the company until its sale and her retirement in 2013. Sadly, post-retirement plans of travel were not realized as Randy lost a battle with cancer in 2015. Susan, never one to sit idle, returned to part time work for the new owners of B&W Sales, Blue Sky Construction. She was incredibly devoted to her career and loved the people with whom she worked.
A cancer survivor, Susan took advantage of every minute of life afforded to her. She loved baking and sharing her baked goods with friends and family. Those lucky enough to receive her Christmas pecan and date cookies would patiently wait every year for the delicious treats made with love. Susan loved visiting her lake house in East Texas, spending countless hours making it a special place for family. She loved spending time in nature: feeding the birds, deer and other wildlife, fishing with her beloved granddaughter, Avery, and most of all, just spending quality time with loved ones watching the sunset on the water or sitting on the porch enjoying every moment.
Susan is preceded in death by her husband, Randy Douglas White, son, Gregory Scott White, father, Emerson "Doc" Stuller, mother, Mary Ella Stuller, in-laws, Frankie Juanita Wright Trantham and Robert Earl White, brothers-in-law, Robert and Mike While, sister-in-law, Kathy White, and niece, Emily Stuller.
