Suthida Chumpirom Parker's Obituary
Suthida Chumpirom Parker was born on January 14, 1944 in Bankok, Thailand and passed away on August 21, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jonathan Parker, residing in Plano, Texas; son, Thomas Gentz; daughter-in-law, Angela; granddaughter, Savannah Gentz; and grandson, Gavin Gentz, all residing in Keller, Texas; and sisters, Somsamon Chana and Suthila Chumpirom both of Bankok, Thailand. Her son Timothy passed away before her in 2001. Suthida was a wonderful caring, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling, shopping, and cooking Thai food for all her friends and family. She was a joy to be near, and was generous and caring to all. She was instant friends with whomever she met. She will be missed by her husband, family, and all who knew her. Family received friends on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 3 to 5 PM at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Service was held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel. There was a candle lighting and dove release Oct. 13, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel. It was a beautiful ceremony. Ede’s 100 day memorial was held on Dec. 3 at the Buddhist Center of Dallas and was attended by her husband, and some close friends of Ede. The one year ceremony will be held at the Buddhist Center of Dallas at 10AM on August 21, 2014. All are invited to come and remember dear Ede.
