Suzan B Copeland's Obituary
Suzan Copeland, 67, of Dallas, Texas passed away on January 4, 2024. She was born February 29, 1956, to Myra Anne and Clovis “Toad” B. Copeland.
Suzan graduated from Skyline High School in Dallas. She retired from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. Suzan was a loyal and devoted friend and cared deeply for her family.
She was preceded in death by her infant son I. Daniel, mother, father, and brother David Copeland. She is survived by sister Vicki Jaques, niece Julia Gibbons, nephews Jeff and Chris Jaques, five great nieces, numerous cousins, and her loyal dog, Goober.
Suzan fought a brave and courageous battle against ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), and after suffering for more than 10 years she finally succumbed to that wretched disease with her loving cousin, Teresa Taylor, at her side. Her sense of humor, positive attitude, and sassy spirit will be greatly missed.
A special thanks to Larry and Sandy Dean who provided financial and emotional support for Suzan’s care at the loving wish of her cousin, Linda Ruth Dean.
