Suzan Gay Little's Obituary
Suzan Felker Little passed away July 18, 2021, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Suzan was born on September 13, 1943 in Dallas, Texas to Charles Felker and Katherine Present. She was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, class of 1962. Suzan attended Blinn College in Brenham, Texas.
In December 1962 Suzan was working in Dallas when she met Don Little. Don joined the U.S. Navy shortly after their meeting. They would date when he would come home on leave. In November 1968, Suzan and Don became engaged and were married June 5, 1969.
Don and Suzan lived in the Dallas area most of their married lives together. Suzan was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association and the Collin County Sheriff’s Citizens on Patrol. She enjoyed traveling, crafts, decorating, and making people laugh. Her infectious smile and outgoing personality were her true assets. She enjoyed delivering Meals-on-Wheels with her mother-in-law.
Surviving family members include her husband Don, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Felker and Katherine Present and sister KayLn Felker.
The family will be receiving visitors on Monday, July 26th from 3-5pm and funeral services will be held July 27th at noon in the Chapel at the Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas Texas.
In lieu of flowers, Don requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Suzan’s name.
