Suzanne Davis Henson's Obituary
Suzanne Davis Henson (Suzy), beloved wife and mother completed her mission on earth and arrived home with Jesus on December 4, 2024.
I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. And, now Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
John 17.4-5
Suzy was born on June 24, 1940, in Hillsboro, Texas to Ellington and Isabel Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Todd Henson, her daughter, Beth Henson and her sister, Diane Perkins. She is survived by her daughter Julie Adcock, her husband, Bill Adcock, her grandchildren, Landon and Lauren Adcock and her nephew, Brad Perkins.
Her greatest joy was being a wife and mother to Todd, Beth, and Julie. She was also a dog lover and passionate about her precious fur babies. She dedicated her life to serving others and mentoring women through friendships, bible studies, church functions, parties, wedding and baby showers. Her life mission was to bring joy and comfort to anyone that crossed her path. She had unbreakable faith in God and a true servant’s heart.
Words cannot adequately describe the impact Suzy had on others. It had to be experienced. Those who knew her were truly blessed by her love and generosity and she leaves behind a legacy of unyielding kindness, warmth, and love.
Suzanne was an anomaly. For such a tiny human being, the love that she had far exceeded her small stature. She loved BIG. Life handed her some big obstacles and though she was a sweet, gentle soul, she handled those challenges like a powerful battle warrior.
We are beyond elated and cheer for her arrival in Heaven as she reunites with Todd, Beth, her mom, dad and sister Diane. What an incredible reunion that must have been! While we celebrate her new life in Christ, those of us she left behind will carry on without her with shattered hearts and faith that we will see her again.
“His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’”
Matthew 25.23
