Sybil Voleta Jackson Shindler's Obituary
Sybil Jackson Shindler, age 90 of San Antonio, Texas passed away on January 10, 2022. Sybil had lived a full life as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was born November 7, 1931 in Goodrich, Texas to parents Jesse and Mernie Parish who preceded her in death. Sybil was also preceded in death by her first husband Lt. Col James W. Jackson of 42 years (1955-1988), her second husband Everett J. Shindler of 24 years (1998-2021), her sister Mernie “Nita” Anderson and her daughter-in-law Rosie Jackson.
Survivors include her brother Jesse Harold Parish (Kathleen), sons David Wayne Jackson and Harold Scott Jackson (Claudia), grandchildren Andrew Jackson, Joshua Jackson, John Jackson, great grandchildren, Lilyana Jackson, Baylor Jackson and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
