Syble Louise Gowin's Obituary
GOWIN, SYBLE LOUISE age 88, of Mesquite, Texas passed away peacefully on 4/26/2012 at Christian Care Center in Mesquite. She was born on July 24, 1923 in Alba, Texas to her parents, Robert and Mary Ann Hazelwood. Syble was a member of First Baptist Church, Mesquite and Crystal Drive Bible Church. She enjoyed traveling with her sister, Donna and friends to numerous locations and spending time with family and friends. Syble will be remembered by sons, Hollis Earl Gowin and wife Elaine, Charles Gowin and wife Karen, Randy Gowin and wife Kerry; daughters, Maxine Watson and husband Troy, Patricia Turner, Billie Clark and husband Dwaine, Vicki Hodgkiss and husband Ronald. She is also survived by sister, JoAnn Thompson, brother and sister-in-law Willie Gowin and wife Mildred; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, R.C. and Molly Hazelwood; husband, Hollis Gowin; son in law, Wes Turner; grandchildren, SFC Raymond Munden, Crystal Gowin; sisters, Pauline Burke, Mozell Burnett and Donna Dean. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, Monday, April 30th at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held 12:30pm, Tuesday, May 1st at Restland Memorial Chapel.
