Sydney Herbert Emerson's Obituary
Born April, 28, 1922 in Winnipeg, Canada and passed away September 1, 2007 in Richardson, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife Jane A Emerson. Sydney enjoyed wood carving, small engine repair, fishing, and his neighborhood friends. He served his country during WWII on the U.S.S. San Francisco as a fireman. Sydney is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Iley and husband Gene; sons, Dwight Emerson and wife Debbi, Herbert E Emerson and wife Laurie, and 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. at Restland Wildwood Chapel with interment following at Restland Memorial Park. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
