Sylvia Bea Spears' Obituary
Mrs. Sylvia Bea Spears, age 88, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Greenville, Texas. She was born to Horace C. Ledbetter and Olive Wood on April 10, 1934, in Greenville, Texas. Services will be at Restland Wildwood Chapel in Dallas, TX on May 11, 2022 at 2:00PM. She married the love of her life George Spears, on April 25, 1960. Sylvia graduated From Greenville high school in 1952, worked for the Dallas Police department where she met George, then later retired from Texas Rehabilitation Commission. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Pauline, Florence, Elveda, Alene, and Eulalia, brothers; Joe and Clarence, and her step-son George Edward. Sylvia is survived by her two sons: Brian Spears; and David Spears, along with his wife Shelby. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of Crossroads Assembly of God church in Greenville, TX. Everyone will remember Sylvia as a selfless, loving woman giving her time and resources to many different people and organizations throughout her lifetime.
The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 2:00pm in the Wildwood Chapel - 13005 Greenville Ave,. Dallas, TX 75243
