Tammy Jo Farley's Obituary
Tammy Jo Farley, 64, of Dallas, Texas, sadly passed away on July 2, 2025. Her daughters, Nicole and Chrissy, were able to hold her hand as her spirit continued on its journey. She left before her time, but she will never be far.
Tammy was born on July 23, 1960, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to the late Marilyn and Thomas J. Farley. Tammy is a 1978 graduate from JJ Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Tammy would go on to work for American Airlines, Levis Straus & Company, Brinker International, and Concurrent Solutions, where she was highly regarded for her dedication and work ethic.
Tammy loved to laugh, and you always knew her laugh was genuine. She loved her daughters more than anything. She will undoubtedly continue to be proud of them for every little thing they do. Tammy was a perfect example of what a mom should be: a best friend, number one fan, and unconditional supporter. Of course, she gave that same love and support as a grandmother, too.
Tammy's interests were diverse, including reading, writing, traveling, and frequenting farmers markets and beaches. She also enjoyed boating, laying out by the pool, and shopping, making the most of her leisure time. Tammy was fascinated with dance and ballet, an artform she accomplished in her youth and continued to love throughout her life.
Tammy is survived by her daughters, Brittany Nicole Duncan and Chrissy Bailey Duncan; and grandchildren, JT Oates and Rylee Cheyenne Oates. She leaves behind her loving and devoted boyfriend of 10 years, Clyde George, with whom she shared many blessed and happy memories. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marilyn and Thomas J. Farley. Tammy’s love for all animals was profound, especially for her cat, Coco. She was a staunch advocate for animal rights, supporting organizations like PETA and the SPCA.
At this time, no services are planned. Contributions in memory of Tammy can be made to PETA or the SPCA, causes she passionately supported. Restland Funeral Home in Richardson, Texas, is assisting the family with arrangements.
