Tammy Ann Washburn's Obituary
Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home January 18, 2009. She was born March 14, 1970 in Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jason Washburn; her mother, Marilynn Mason; her brother, Christopher Lee Mason and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. She also leaves behind her husky Ariel and cats, Felice and Gaby. Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Matthew Mason, her brother, Tim Mason and Michael Mason; her grandparents, one uncle and her much loved pets, Sebastian and Hamlet. Tammy graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1989 where she and Jason met and continued to live in Mesquite until her death. She will be remembered by her family and her multitude of friends for her beautiful, loving and warm smile, natural blonde hair, exceptional sense of humor, and love for children and animals. We will all miss Tammy deeply but take comfort in knowing she is safe and free from earth’s discomforts with her heavenly Father. Service will be held 12:30 PM, Friday, January 23, 2009 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with Rev. Leighton Bearden officiating. Because Tammy was so passionate in helping others, in lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation in her memory to your favorite charity.
