Mrs. Teelia Ann Hancock's Obituary
Mrs. Teelia Ann Hancock, 68 of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed from this life on October 6, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 19, 1956, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Curtis Eugene O'Dell and Mary Ann Darymple. She met Mr. David Hancock and they married on March 10, 1991, and celebrated over 34 years of marriage together.
She is known as a servant of Christ which she displayed humbly by her walk with the Lord. She was very passionate about children, but more so, her grandchildren, and being involved in the children's ministry at church. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, cooking for her family, played all types of games. She worked with special needs children for the Irving School District for many years. She enjoyed playing volleyball, which is where she met her husband David. She was also passionate about fishing and enjoyed spending time at the lake.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, John David Hancock; sons. Jonathan Bounds and Daniel Bounds; daughters, Amber Cook, and Amanda Lindeman; brother, Denzel O'Dell. Her bonus daughter, Stephanie McDannald. Two grandsons and nine granddaughters.
A time of visitation with friends and family will be held on Monday evening, October 14, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. A Memorial Service Celebrating her Life will be held at a later date and time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Resltand Funeral Home.
