Mrs. Teena Lucille Trevino, beloved wife, sister, daughter, and friend, passed away on April 20, 2024, in Garland, TX. She was born on July 25, 1958, in Cortez, Colorado, to her loving parents Jack and Bea Cooke.
Teena's life was a tapestry woven with love, kindness, and creativity. Teena had a passion for crafting flower arrangements and wreaths, which she shared with those around her. Her artistic touch and attention to detail shone brightly in every piece she created, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to receive her beautiful creations.
On October 6, 1978, Teena married the love of her life, Ray Trevino, in Dallas, TX. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and unwavering support, standing as a beacon of strength through life's trials and triumphs.
Teena was a cherished wife, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Bea Cooke, in-laws Reyes and Dora Trevino, nephew John Willie Schoonover, and sister-in-law Cecilia T. Oakley. Teena is survived by her loving husband, Ray Trevino; devoted sister, Tracy Schoonover; caring brother-in-law, John Schoonover; brothers Kelly, Jon, and Robin Cooke; sister-in-law Maria and brother-in-law Tim Marcon; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Restland Funeral Home, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Teena's life will be held the following day on April 26, 2024, at Restland Memorial Chapel beginning at 9:30 AM, with interment and reception following from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
